now, i don't give a damn on my grades, last time still will anxious, still will work hard for the grades....but now, i feel nothing, i feel lazy....i will just accept the grades that was given to me.
My faci told us something today which i feel that it quite make sense and i feel that it is a good motivation. He told us a story of an experience he had when he was at work last time. dunno is it a joke or did happen b4. Here it goes...
One day, there was this plant company, suddenly the whole system cannot work which means the whole company have to stop operation/working. So this person-in-charge do not know what to do, he call up an consultant/expert to come down and take a look, so he brought his hammer...knock knock here knock knock there....knock everywhere....and finally he knows where goes wrong...the consultant told the p-i-c the exact place where gone wrong and ask them to fix the problem. So the p-i-c just do it, and soon the operation went on as normal, in fact after the fixing, there's no problem at all.
So the p-i-c was so happy and was quite satisfied, but when he saw the e-mail that was sent by the consultant, he was shocked. The e-mail wrote that the company will have to pay him 10,000 for the consult and helped the company to fixed the problem. So the p-i-c decided to ask him for a breakdown( means why does not cost so much)?
So the consultant wrote back and says, $1 for using the hammer to knock, $9999 is finding out the cause and helped to solve the problem.
So morale of the story is.... even u have skill but without knowledge....u just worth $1 only...=)
